House of Many Tongues
by Jonathan Garfinkeldirected by Richard Rose
World Premiere
Israeli general Shimon has lived in his home in Jerusalem for forty years. When a Palestinian writer shows up and lays claim to the house he left decades ago, we realize somehow their two families are going to have to live together — if they don’t kill each other first. Magic realism triumphs over political reality in this witty and exciting new play, developed while Jonathan was a member of the 2006 Playwrights Unit.
