Our work at the Tarragon starts with the blank page. From the minds of our playwrights, words emerge, dialogue erupts and a clash of events are created upon the page; from our directors and designers worlds takes shape and visions are made manifest on the stage; and from our actors new characters are born with all the contradictions of human nature embodied. Stories of our time and our country are seen and spoken out loud for the first time on Tarragon’s stages. What you see on our stage is the end of the journey from this blank page to you.
