The Collective of 7 is excited to present the premiere of the visceral new play CLINIC by Daniel Spragge for their inaugural production.
In an abortion clinic waiting room, a man with a broken jaw tries to make peace with his
circumstances, when an off-kilter and eccentric young woman sits next to him and begins
seeking his friendship, understanding, and forgiveness.
CLINIC is a play about a victim of childhood trauma who is trying to discover how to function in
the world, and build meaningful relationships with others. The play aims to incite a dialogue
surrounding the cyclical nature of abuse, and provoke a critical discussion about the way our
society deals with sexual violence.
*This is a Canadian Actors’ Equity Association production under the Artists’ Collective Policy.
***Warning: This play contains physical and sexual violence.***
