“Pure charm! Sheer magic!” – CBC Radio

Puppetmongers Theatre proudly return to the Tarragon Theatre in December to celebrate their 30th anniversary of delightful Winter Holiday performances with Tea at the Palace!
Tea at the Palace is a sumptuous retelling of two heartwarming tales told in old Russia, that explore themes of equity, social justice and compassion. Staged in Puppetmongers’ signature style with zest, humour and delightful ingenuity, the show features magical pop-up scenery, an array of puppets based on antique dolls and toys ranging from 6” to 6’ tall, and exuberant music created that draws on traditional Russian songs and instrumentation.
