Forty whip-smart and brutally honest children are asked about love, life, and the world. From their fresh perspectives four adult actors speak their exact words and make them their own!
Using the words of a younger generation, new ideas and experiences come to life through the voices of adults. Hilarious, profound, and surprising, CHILD-ish is an intergenerational new twist on ‘verbatim theatre’ from a creative team that spans ages 6-77.
CHILD-ish runs approximately 70 minutes without intermission.
*There will be mask-required performance on Saturday, November 1 @ 2 PM.
*There will be a relaxed environment performance on Saturday, November 8 @ 2 PM.

As well as whimsical and joyous content, children during the interviews also brought up some more sensitive themes like suicide, depression, death and war.
CHILD-ish includes audience participation, discussion of suicide, death, a non-consensual kiss from another child, mentions of self-harm and bullying.
CHILD-ish is primarily aimed at an adult audience. Teenagers have also enjoyed the show. Children are also welcome in the audience, although some children may not be ready for all of the show’s themes.
